Slab Plans and Foundation Plans
We usually do a slab layout in a standard set of plans. This is used by the engineer to design the slab reinforcing etc. and by the builder or surveyor for setting out the building on the site.
More detailed foundation plans are used for steep or unstable sites, sites where there are buildings or structures close by, pools are built close to buildings or where buildings are built over sewer or water pipes.
* For steep or unstable sites, they give details of retaining walls, footings that are stepped, and drainage details.
* Building close to other constructions needs details of how their foundations will be protected from slippage and disturbance.
* Where there is a pool close to a building or a building is over a sewer or water pipe, piers are used to stabilize building foundations.
You will need plans and details for these done by a certified engineer. We can supply details for the initial layout drawings, allowing the plans to progress. We have experience in drawing concrete reinforcing details for engineers so we have a good idea of what will be required..
